Melanie Gebhardt is currently a senior at Temple University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media field. Melanie has gained a wide variety of media experience through academics, studying subjects such as television production, media theory, and multimedia design. Outside of school, Melanie has been sharpening her abilities in web-design, a hobby that she has had since she attended high school. This past summer, she had the opportunity to utilize and improve her design abilities through a hands-on internship at the Graphics Department of WYBE, an independent television station in Philadelphia.

Melanie has excellent communication and organizational skills due to her administrative job with the Distance Learning Department at Temple University, which she has held for close to two years. She is able to complete tasks quickly and thoroughly and learn new tasks and programs with ease. Melanie hopes to attain a job within the field of multimedia production, specifically online development or design.

Melanie's hobbies include playing the clarinet in Temple University's Diamond Marching Band and Collegiate Band as well as songwriting, designing, and shopping. She currently lives in the Art Museum district of Center City, Philadelphia.
